The Addams Family auditions
LMVG is very proud to present The Addams Family a New Musical, for the very first time in Leixlip!
The show will run from Tuesday 26th April to Saturday 30th April 2022. We are thrilled to share that we have an award-winning duo at the helm – it will be directed and choreographed by Claire Tighe, with musical direction by Dermot O’Callaghan.
Auditions
- Open auditions for principals will take place on Thursday 3rd February, from 7:00pm.
- We will be auditioning for the parts of Morticia Addams, Gomez Addams, Uncle Fester, Wednesday Addams, Grandma, Pugsley Addams, Alice Beineke, Lucas Beineke and Mal Beineke.
- The location for auditions is the LMVG Prefab, Green Lane, Leixlip, Co Kildare, W23 NX4D (see map below).
- To book your audition slot, please email auditions@lmvg.ie with you name, contact details, and part(s) you would like to audition for. You will then be provided with material/song to prepare.
People who attend auditions will be required to wear a face-covering/mask and observe social distancing when in the Prefab and when not performing. If you have had a positive COVID-19 test within the previous 7 days, or if you have any symptoms, you should not attend auditions.
Note: Dance auditions for the ensemble and chorus, will be held on another date, to be announced soon.

The Addams Family, a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family, features an original story and it’s every father’s nightmare: Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family– a man her parents have never met.
And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before– keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.
