Success at AIMS 2022
LMVG cast, crew and members, attended this weekends annual AIMS Awards in Killarney, Co Kerry… and brought home some well-deserved awards!!
The group was honored to receive a total of seven nominations in the Gilbert Section, for this years production of The Addams Family.
Mary Purcell won Best Stage Management, and Rita Tighe, Kevin Hynes, Judy Miller, Louise Kenny, Seamus Kenny and Aidan Mannion shared the award for Best Visual. The show was also placed third in the Best Overall Show category – a huge achievement for the entire group, especially given the high calibre of incredible shows and stiff competition across the country this year.
The LMVG Committee would like to extend our warmest congratulations to all the nominated societies and winners, on their well-deserved successes this weekend. Congratulations to our friends in AIMS, for another hugely successful and fun-filled weekend – wow, just wow!
And to all the cast and crew involved with, and nominated for, The Addams Family – we are eternally proud of all you have achieved and delivered this year, alongside all your best friends and family here in Leixlip.
